Please join Symposium Books in welcoming author, environmental journalist, and professor Christina Gerhardt on October 1st, when she will be in conversation with Bathsheba Demuth, environmental historian and Dean’s Associate Professor of History and Environment and Society at Brown University!

They will be discussing Gerhardt's new book, Sea Change: An Atlas of Islands in a Rising Ocean, followed by a brief Q&A and the opportunity to get your own copy of the fantastic book signed!

Christina Gerhardt is Associate Professor at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa,  former Barron Professor of Environment and the Humanities at Princeton University and a permanent Senior Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley. She is also an environmental journalist and her writing has been published by The Guardian, Grist, The Nation and Sierra.
